Harden your house before the next red flag warning
Most homes lost in a wildfire are not consumed by a wall of flame. They are ignited by wind-driven embers landing on a vulnerable part of the structure, often an hour or more after the fire front has passed. Fixing those vulnerabilities is what home hardening means.
